What is ADHD coaching?
The Coaching world is huge and can be overwhelming! So many areas, so many styles, so many offerings!
I see ADHD coaching as a supportive, action-focused partnership designed to support you to:
understand and be friends with your unique brain
create strategies that work simply for you
recognise and integrate your strengths in your life journey
explore, experiment, and grow in a judgement-free space
You do not have to be diagnosed with ADHD, you don’t have to believe in any label. This is an open space for anyone facing challenges in a demanding world and is curious about navigating in calmer waters.
ADHD Coaching is not a replacement for professional therapy or a place where someone gives you the answers and tells you what to do.
I will not tell you to Just try harder, Just use an alarm, Just use a planner, Just be more disciplined. Because you’ve heard this enough, and it does not work.
The journey is yours, the discovery belongs to you, and I am here to put a hand on your shoulder and walk with you.
The 3As: coaching foundations for Growth
Self-Advocacy
Recognise your needs, strengths and rights with courage and dignity.
Confidently communicate them to get the support, accommodations, or boundaries that help you thrive.
Authenticity
The quiet confidence of knowing:
This is me. And that’s enough.
Show up as you truly are and not as you’ve been told you should be.
Trust your instincts, honour your needs, and give yourself permission to take up space without apology or performance.
Accountability
Commit to your growth with compassion, not punishment, and trust yourself on your journey.
Celebrate the effort and showing up as much as outcomes, all the while staying connected to strengths and purpose.
“Follow your own weird”
- James Broughton, adopted by Alan Watts to mean "following your own karma" and living authentically.
