About Me

Hi and welcome. I am Assia.

Born on the cusp of Gen X and Y in communist Bulgaria, I spent my teenage and university years in New Zealand following an education and career path of computer science and data analytics. I loved it and it took me around the world and to Switzerland, almost 20 years ago! I said I’d stay for a little bit.

After 4 decades of being “simply who I am” - speedy, quirky, missing flights, not paying bills, having a million interests, talking to myself on the street (and having the innate ability to trip over my feet), I came to a point where this wasn’t enough to carry me through challenges of raising a family, working, moving and changing many times and, simply getting older. I just couldn’t pretend all was fine.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in mid 2024 and went through the motions of grief, relief, action and am on a journey of baby steps and conscious shifts.

My journey into ADHD Coaching started in early 2025 with a very clear calling to understand myself and the people around me better. I wanted also to learn more about our wider neurodivergent society, its combined life experiences and struggles and be able to support others on their own journey of advocacy, authenticity and accountability.

The healing, learning and growing is a continuous journey (luckily, otherwise it would get boring) and we need to be finding “our people”, the people that make us feel good, and let us be ourselves.

I believe in the magic, in the mind, and in our uniqueness, both as individuals and as a community where we belong.

I’m humbled and grateful to be able to share this with you.
